Use this 10min breathing practise to learn diaphragmic breathing and calm your nervous system at work, after work, before an important appointment, before you go to sleep….anytime you need it. This 20min chair yoga sequence helps you loosen up your shoulders, back, calves and ankles in combination with breathing and body awareness practise. You can do these exercises in the saddle ( if safe to do and your horse can stand calmly for that amount of time) or as warm up with a chair or cool down after your ride if you feel tensed after rididng.

Please not, this is not a stretch but an effective way to let go of tension and pain by retraining your muscle memory and nervous system response. This exercise is done very slow, in combination with your breath and supports body awareness and being present wuth your body. Please stay in the boundaries of your body and practise very slow.
