Rebalance your body by retraining your nervous system

- Are you interested in learning how you can resolve your muscular skeletal pain, manage stress
​and improve your sleep by re-training your nervous system?
- Have you reached the limit of the general health system approach,
​but still suffer from muscular skeletal pain and discomfort?

​Then clinical somatic education could be the solution for you!

Investment: 
NZ$ 120 ( incl. tax) 
​per 1:1 session (60 - 75min)
or 3 session bundle for NZ$ 299 ( SAVE 60$)
Please note: For best results, a minimum amount of  3 -6 sessions is required. 
These can be done weekly, fortnightly or monthly.

Normally the first 3 sessions are done weekly to get you started and into the regular practise.
Regularly (daily) practise of the exercises is needed to get the results you want.
Re-training the nervous system, improve posture, and create new healthier muscle memory
takes time and consistency!


Included is a starting questionnaire to tailor the exercises to YOUR pain source and your needs,
plus a script or audio file of each exercise for independent home practise

About Britta

Britta Bruns is your expert for nervous system regulation

Britta Bruns is an SMC® (Somatic movement centre) CEI Level 1 +2 instructor ( currently continuing with Level 3 )  in Invercargill, New Zealand. 
Britta has a background in Occupational Therapy and has worked with people for more than 2 decades in a holistic way. Britta is passionate about addressing the root cause of an issue, rather than treating symptoms, to create long lasting results with her clients.
She is also a certified Hypnotherapy practitioner, Mindfulness trainer, Life coach and Yoga Therapist.
Britta loves teaching people movement-based tools they can use on their own, to release chronic tension & stress, manage and relieve pain and live and active, joyful life again.

For the mind, Britta offers the power of Hypnotherapy to overcome unhelpful beliefs, clear restrictive emotions and enable people to reach their full potential and live a content and fulfilled life. 

Britta loves to educate people how they can become self sufficient in improving and maintaining health & wellbeing, by re-balancing mind and body.

When Britta started practicing clinical somatic exercises, she experienced a significant reduction in the frequency, duration, and intensity of her shoulder pain. Britta has become more aware of triggers that causing her pain and she is pain-free now, after 2.5 years, thanks to her daily practice of somatic exercises.
She is excited to offer Clinical Somatics (as one of 3 SMI certified instructors in New Zealand), because it is so gentle, mindful and accessible and can be customized to meet her students’ specific needs.

Important note:
​Our services are no substitute for a doctors consultation, Physiotherapy sessions, counselling or Psychiatric visits.
Our services are alternative approaches that greatly align with treatments from other health professional involved in your recovery or rehabilitation journey.
In terms of the Yoga & exercises, please talk to your healthcare provider before beginning yoga therapy or somatic exercises to make sure it is a good addition to your treatment plan.
They may also make recommendations on what areas of your body to focus on,
which you can discuss with me to incorporate it into your programme.
Always contact your healthcare provider if you experience ongoing pain or have new symptoms.

Hypnotherapy is no substitute for counselling or Psychiatric support.
It is a complementary form of treatment. 
Hypnosis may not be appropriate for people with epilepsy or severe mental health issues,
​such as psychotic symptoms, including hallucinations and delusions, bipolar disorder or severe forms of trauma and PTSD.
Please contact your GP and ask for a referral that Hypnotherapy is safe for you to do.
