Hi, I’m Britta – Your Guide to Calm, Confidence & Balance

Hypnotherapist, Stress Relief Coach, and Rider Confidence Specialist
​with 25+ years of experience in holistic therapy.

I’m originally from northern Germany and moved to New Zealand in 2015 to follow my heart
(and my Kiwi husband 😉).
The transition wasn’t easy—new country, new culture, health challenges, and a career change after 20 years as an Occupational Therapist in Germany.
But through overcoming these struggles, I experienced profound personal growth, transformation,
​and a deep understanding of how stress and life changes affect the body and mind.

Why am I passionate about what I do?

I’m dedicated to helping women and female riders in midlife
manage pain, stress, overwhelm and emotional blocks to enjoy life and riding again.
​—just as I once had to do myself.

My approach is holistic, focusing on the root causes rather than masking symptoms.
I combine my 25+ years of experience with intensive study and practice in:
- Nervous system regulation 
- Somatic exercises & clinical movement
- Hypnotherapy & NLP
- Mindfulness, Chair Yoga, and Breathwork
- Behaviour change & Stress management

Using these tools alongside my life & riding experience,
I created a practical, calm, and empowering coaching style.

I’m also a lifelong rider and bodyworker for horses,
specializing in Craniosacral Therapy and nervous system rebalancing.
I have experienced the impact of an accident with my horse and struggled with pain and fear afterwards.
I understand first-hand how a stressed rider affects a horse
—leading to tension, mistrust, and impulsive behaviour.
I’ve helped many riders overcome fear, performance anxiety, and overthinking,
​so they can enjoy a relaxed, trusting partnership with their horse.
