Hello, I am Britta.
Lovely to meet you, thank you for stopping by!
I am originally from Germany,
but moved to New Zealand in 2015 to follow my heart (my now Kiwi husband) when I was 39 years old.
It was very challenging and I faced a lot of obstacles & circumstances that were new to me.
I experienced uncertainties in terms of my career as an OT, setbacks in figuring out how life works in NZ, I was confronted with some health issues
and I was "forced" to change my career path,
after being a highly qualified and specialized OT for over 20 years in Germany.
I am not registered as an OT in NZ.
( long and sad story but with a good & different outcome in the finish).
Everything is different and more difficult in a new country until you figure things out and grow into a new culture, new language and new lifestyle.
I am glad I did not give up, because this all lead me to personal growth + transformation,
lots of learning by leaving my comfort zone ( not easy for a German, lol), adapting to a new culture and language, new ways of living and working, and much more.
As an addition to my private services for women,
I am able to use all my skills by working as a Rehab Coach.
I am supporting people after an accident within a wider team of PTs, OTs, Nutritionists and Psychologists as a contractor to "Advantage South".
All of what I am sharing + practisisng with the women I work with,
has helped me on my own path of healing and evolving.
My life is now filled with joy, health , wellbeing and ongoing growth
and I am grateful for it every day!
Some impressions from my hometown in northern Germany in the countryside, one hours drive away from Hamburg and also some photos from some of my favourite places in New Zealand. Do you recognize them?
Why is it my purpose to help women manage and lower their pain and stress levels?
I am specialized in pain & stress relief for women, because I have been there.
I understand my clients, because I have experienced similar challenges in my life.
Not just when I moved to New Zealand from Germany, but within my time in Germany as well.
I am also a caring women who has always put the needs of others (family, friends, collegues...) first,
before I adressed my own needs.
I learned my lesson, that caring for yourself is actually not selfish,
but essential to be able to support others in the best possible way.
"If you own energy level and health is good and balanced, you can "give" to others without being drained and ending up fatigue, stressed and overwhelmed."
- Fill your own cup before you fill up others.-
I have finally managed to overcome my own pain and have developed a calm mind
by continuously searching and exploring holistic methods and solutions.
I learned to establish selfcare as a daily habit.
My approach is resolving the root cause instead of covering or supressing symptoms.
For me and most of my clients this approach works well and creates lasting results.
Of course, everybody is unique and has to find their own way of healing, I am just sharing mine.
I have always been a "holistic" thinking person and I have supported people that way in Germany as an Occupational therapist for over 2 decades.
I believe, the healing powers are already within us.
We need to rebalance our mind and body and reconnect both to activate our own resources.
Only then, healing & growth can happen.
I have experienced it myself!

I am grateful these days, for all the learning opportunities, personal growth and transformation I have experienced in the last 10 years by continuously working on myself and never giving up.
The only power we all have is to change OURSELVES and OUR perspective or responses towards other people or circumstances. I truly believe in this and my life experience has shown me, I am on right path.
I am looking forward to help you change your life to a more relaxed, fulfilled and pain free life!
